Snakes don’t need their vivarium to be exactly the same length as they are but as a general rule for working out what size snake vivarium to buy, the length of the vivarium should be approximately 66% of the snake’s length and the width should be 33% of it, making this one perfect for bigger pet snakes.
As for bearded dragons, they need a home that gives them plenty of space to move around (like they would have in the wild) so a large vivarium is highly recommended. They’re only semi-arboreal so while they do need somewhere to climb a bit, it’s more important to give them space to move. Is it suitable for baby bearded dragons?
Yes, this is a suitable vivarium for baby bearded dragons. They love having lots of space so it’s absolutely fine to buy a large vivarium that they’ll grow into.
The only thing you need to take into consideration is that live food may ‘escape’ from the baby bearded dragon if the tank is too large. You can get around this by putting the live food in the fridge for five minutes before you feed it to your bearded dragon to slow it down.
